Xbox One/Series, Xbox 360, PS5 DualSense and DualSense Edge, PS4 DualShock 4, Switch Pro, 8BitDo and most XInput controllers, over USB or Bluetooth. Games receive a standard Xbox controller.

The game is also reading your real controller. Make sure Hide my real controller from games is ticked in DriftLab (this needs HidHide — the DriftLab installer can install it for you; restart your PC after). If you use Steam, turn off Steam Input for your controller or for that game.

Check the controller works in Windows (search "Set up USB game controllers"). Try another USB cable or port, or re-pair it over Bluetooth. DriftLab picks controllers up automatically — no need to restart it. If DriftLab says "unrecognised pad", email me the controller model.

Make the blue mask bigger so it covers everywhere the red dot wanders when you let go, then raise Filter Strength. Very severe drift may need 70–90%.

Update to DriftLab 1.2 — it uses a standard layout for every controller. On Switch Pro, buttons match their position (bottom button = A), like Steam does.

No. All controller processing happens on your PC. DriftLab only goes online to check your licence key with Lemon Squeezy.
